About	Suilven is a remarkable mountain rising directly out of a flat plateau to form one of the most distinctive domed peaks in Scotland and in my opinion there is no finer viewpoint than this one. Beautiful shot, Ian. A perfect mix of medium format and Velvia. You must have suffered terribly from the midges and suffered for your art! I know this mountain well, having spent several months living in a caravan in Elphin during winter 1990/1991. You might like to take a look at my picture "Suil Bheinn", taken not too far from this one at the opposite end of the year.
