not havamal, but in old german (actually the oldest text in old german, written in a book by an unknown monk at merseburg monastery). the lines are here in futharken-font saying: 'blout ze blouda, lid ze gelida' ... blood to blood, member to member; an old healing spell performed by odin himself on the broken leg of a foal:)) multiple overlay.
This is a terrific piece of art, Fabio. I don't know why it hasn't received more attention in the form of comments. The face-like apparition, that is almost cadaverous very well exemplifies the written lines. Just great!!! Steve p.s. I'm really glad you commented on one of my photos. it's an entire (short) story: odin&baldur rode into the woods, odin's horse (or foal:)) broke its legs via spell magic he besings the wounded part (blood to blood, bone to bone, member to member)... et voilá!, all safe&sane in the matter of seconds. :))
the strange thing is, that a christian MONK wrote it (not in futharken, of course!:)) on a back page of a holy book... merseburg is a small and beautiful town in central germany.
