A very interesting photo accompanied with a very interesting question. And the answer seems to lie within mathematics - cellular automata and digital rules - but that's another story.
The photo for itself is very well done, since all those extremely fine details and hue variations have benn captured excellently! I would only perhaps try to cropp off a bit of the edges that are not so "entangled".

I like this one, Ian...reminds me a bit of an image I entitled "Beo's heart"...haven't uploaded it yet, but will sometime in the future.
Will this image be included in the book?

I like this Ian. It does look like a heart and has a feel that it is actually pumping blood. Nice one.
