Lovely silhouetted chimney stacks reaching for the moon here Paul. The graduated sky is very nice. Your 1 second exposure has been very successful to achieve a lovely night shot. Nice work.

Thanks for dropping by my Penguin image. I enjoy finding humorous shapes in nature.

Cheers - Ann :)

Hi Paul, very cool shot. the huge chimneys, blending into the dark sky create a very ominous feel about this photo. My first reaction was that I'd loved to see a bit more contrast, but the longer I look at it, the less I deem it necessary. Very cool, graphic image, with a rather intimidating feel. Good work!

Cheers,

Hugo

Well, Austin's far enough inland to avoid most of the Gulf Fetch except for summer. this time of year, humidity is fairly low.
Here's a comparison between Austin and San Dieg avg. temps, Lori:

Yes. I waited for the shot. Many before and many after were not as good as this.

I love it Paul, FANTASTIC!!!

The clarity is amazing.

Been meaning to ask you, how many months of miserable humidity in Austin area??

Very cool shot Senor. I love the moodiness of it. Looks like something out of a movie. Great compo and exposure. Very well done, Mark

Grand silhouette Paul...so much detail. The sky, from the moon to the sunset is fabulous!
Thanks for the comment on mine.
