Another shot from our favourite Adelaide Zoo. Hope you like it! I thought I would upload a meerkat shot tonight but alas....anyway look at Michael Trembath's "The meerkat's vision", it's heaps good!
Thanks Michael, it's a good point about the beak, I didn't notice how it blends so much into its facial markings. Thanks mate! :) Oh yeah, and reviewing your comment again, do you mean to say those bright spots are distracting? :P I agree. Ooh, it's looking like a potential re-post...!
Interesting take on an otherwise 'simple' shot, the colouring of the bird almost implies it being the alien in this photo. Nice cool tones about, the numerous bright spots force me to keep an eye on each of them, just like a meerkat ;) I particularly love the red ring around its eye, but I would've liked the lower part of the beak to be more visible. Regardless of that, nice work!
