I like all the twists in the capture and the barren feel to this danny. Good shot.

that tree's wrong in the head - what on ewarth do you want to live up there for!!!!
though it does have great texture and interest so well worth a shot. Like the way it cuts the scene in 2 with a diagonal too
placed the flower thingy nicely in the frame

Of course you walked up [probably ran :)] up 30000 ft to get this and no camera shake whatsoever. This is just fabulous the textures and wonderful twisted shapes of the tree. I love it Danny. Margaret You probably get to know what is going on from Keith, but if you want to e mail me it is Margaretsturg@aol.com would not like to lose touch

Cool lines and textures Danny! It's amazing where a plant will grow isn't it? I tend to agree with Hugo. I think if the color of the plant was "kicked up" just a bit it would add to the shot....but I really like it the way it is! Kathy

Hi Danny, Very intriguing image, and a very suitable title. I like the dull tones, even in the parts that are supposed to be very much alive. Also, the composition is well balanced. The only thing I'd like to nitpick about is that a bit of contrasting colour (just a small object somewhere in the composition) could make this image tick just a wee bit more. A very minor thing, though.
Cheers,
Hugo

This is really interesting Danny with all the gnarly shapes and textures. And the little thriving plant all alone there...nice job!
