Now that's a close up. I'm sure glad he is not attacking me. Look at those determined eyes are dangerous talons. I hope he wasn't after your camera. Terrific shot.

from proud to X, passing by gathering and your Manson's pics... so much nice pics that you posted since my last visit. This one is simply incredible. So intense look, so nice capture, real great framing... Absolutely fantastic Darlene.

Great shot Darlene!
I hope you ducked!
The level adjustment is far better. The colours are richer as predicted by Alison and a lot of the noise is gone as well. I think you were so excited by the image that you simply didn't worry about it at first. I'll bet if you had posted the second version, you might have had an award on this one by now.

Wow! I love these head-on shots, and this one is amazing. His concentration is evident in the intensity of his gaze, but I am drawn to the clench of those great claws. Double wow!! The focus had to be incredibly complicated with a lens that long and the subject zooming straight at you. How did you manage that?

Best wishes,
--George

This is really an amazing shot, I feel like ducking, he's so close. His feet are amazing in size. I think maybe a bit more contrast or auto levels would make it a bit richer in colors. Alison
