Wow, what an eye you have! Another favorite. This is wonderful. The simple beauty to this is so perfect. Love green colors & the lines are what makes this. Only minimal color in the leaves. Striking.

The encounter between organic and geometric lines is fascinating - Great color and super compo as usual!

Todd:

It's green. Thought that the color cast was purposeful and quite liked it. Kind of like the Matrix in Minnesota.

After you calibrate your home PC to a stable view, go forward with the idealism that the lab should print to a flat setting. The intensity of the colors may change, but they should not add nor remove colors.

My place put out some prints that were washed out. I resubmitted them and they turned out just fine. The tech and I compared the before and after and they agreed something was going on.

Point is, the lab should produce an image that is dead on or damn close if you have a calibrated monitor.

Hey Todd,

totally cool, totally Todd. The weird toning, the tree that tries to fight against the wall... another tree in the wall... we don't need no concrete heads...

super flat screen!

best wishes,
Thilo

hi Michael....thanks for the comments. Does this look crazy green on your screen? I just checked on my 'puter at the office and the colors look way off. at home it looks a lot more grey than green. time to check my monitor settings again...i tried to calibrate to a local print lab and things have looked pretty strange since.

Simple and clear - I've noticed the inclusion of small elements and points of interest. Here, the tree is a nice little bit of organic body, and the grating is a small point of interest.

I think that a splash of color would have popped it out, but you do with the material at hand.

Another really nice composition. The touches of yellow really enhance the shot. Well done!
