How does this work? I've been in some pretty impressive libraries - but most stack their books on shelves rather than in neverending circles. Plus alhtough it looks like the photo was taken upwards (since there's a light fixture on the right) there seems to be a reflective surface on the right that normally shoudl reflect the floor but instead seems to show a person above looking downwards.

Well - neat idea... a bit haunting though since that's about how I feel right now - enshrined by neverending stacks of books while studying for finals.
