About
Not quite as delapitaded as your own industrial B&W photos, Matej, but close enough in general mood to offer it as a tribute! This is supposed to look like Tri-X 400 with a yellow filter. Comes quite close, I think. I do love the perspective of the 40mm lens. With the better ability to frame that my SLR has over the RFs I used to shoot exclusively, it has replaced the 35mm focal length as my standard lens.
Ah, Joao, I see you chose to comment on one of my few B&W picture... Thank you for your visit! And for a comment on one of my least commented pictures! I love your photos, and look forward to seeing many more...
Glad you liked it. I look forward to seeing some more of your work. My Kiev is still without its WL finder and big Sonnar lens, alas. I am waiting to hear when they will be ready, and will order and pay for a pentaprism finder to be sent with the repairs. Another few days, perhaps? Then a week in the post... Should be here well before Christmas. though.
I might get around to posting some new work in the near future - I've taken a week's vacation from work, and am hoping to spend it shooting & printing.
What's the status on your viewfinder replacement - is your Kiev functional yet?
