What a beautiful bird ,with feather which colours are in perfect harmony with the colours of the branches without leaves and with some kind of moss on them..it seems to be autumn...

It is so hard to get close enough to most small birds to get such great detail. I like how it blends in with the tree. Good job Dave. Del.

Wonderfully sharp. I can't get over your knack of being able to get that close. I can't sneak up on anything. Well done Dave. Very nice colours too. Santa bringing any photo stuff?

I bet the flies are few and far between with all your cold weather. Nice detail in this lovely little bird. I might crop some from the right as it is pretty bright. Don.

Georgeous photo, Dave! You certainly are getting the most out of you tele-converter and are very skilled at getting a subject on focus. The lighting is beautiful with the low winter sun. I like the frame which complements the tones of the bird feathers.

Well it doesn't get any better than this Dave, nice diagonal and a perfect dof with very nice details in the feathers, and taken in beautiful lighting too, I just think those little skinny legs are so tiny in comparison to the rest of his body, LOL..but they are very strong obviously, nice work Dave!!
