This really looks like a fantastic place to photograph, Mark. And I am rather fond of steps and stairs, as you may have noticed from my portfolio...
Nice angle here, and placing a person in shot for scale and reference is a nice touch. Without the person, it would be a much more abstract shot.
I do think the lady in shot is too forward by about a step --- and that's about my only nitpick here.
Thanks for commenting on my Caracará photo. I do wish I could justify one of these L and IS lenses you use... maybe for Xmas! :)

Love this image, kind of abstract. The only thing I would change is crop off a little bit of the top.
