Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique Hello Niclas, interesting perspective looking straight down to what I'm guessing is your morning brew. Like very much the pattern of the background table & the cup @ first glance makes you think is the center of the latter. Thank you so much for all your comments & I look to forward to seeing more of your images, best regards & wishes.

You have great portfolio of abstract visions, this one is so creative, in form and composition. by the good symmetry mood of the shot. bravo!

This is fabulous. Love the b&w and the daintiness of the china is amazing how it pours (no pun intended) out of the shot. Now I need a cup of coffee...

Wonderful to take this cup from up above to get the intricate table patterns in the shot .. Peter

Your right! And after looking at this image again I appreciate the big fat frame as it tends to balances out the negative & positive spaces and the black & white tones
Maybe you should clone out the small leaves on the cup...it will give the image a more abstract feel i just LOVE this image!

Thanks P.J. I just happened to look at my cup of coffee this morning while sitting on my balcony and realized that the table would make a nice background for a perspective shot such as this one.
Regards,
Niclas

Thankyou Arwa! I took a few shots with the spoon in different positions, but in the end found this to suit the rest of the shot in the best possible way.

wonderful perspective niclas!
The dead center composition works well here!
and the composition is made perfect by ensuring that the spoon is slanted!
A great addition to the Alternate Perspective project :)
