One of the happiest moments in my life was standing on the edge of a lake.... I was up thousands of feet at Yosemite and I remember standing on the shore and holding my breath and all of the sudden it felt as if I had gone deaf because it was so quiet. It was so amazing... I breathed again for an instant and held it again to see.. I guess you could say the quietness was so loud in itself.. it brought me to tears... Your photo reminds me of this.

Poetry in pictures indeed. The title is very appropriate, you can really hear and feel the sound of silence. I love it. The composition is perfect, and I like the way the sky and the water mix so subtly that you can't see where one ends of the other starts. There's a great feel about it. An excellent shot. Congrats.

Bellissimo commento e foto Roberto , la nostra passione di fotografare è una cosa fantastica stiamo in contatto con la natura con le persone con oggetti ecc. e' un hobby che ci permette di immortalare tutto e la cosa piu' bella a differenza di altri Hobby vedi la pesca o la caccia ( non me ne vogliano coloro i quali praticano ) che non facciamo del male a nessuno anzi dalle cose apparentemente semplici riusciamo a ricavarne sensazioni stupende...ciao Salvo buona giornata.
