Thanks clay. I liked the shot just wish I could get a little less noise. Still working on the best settings.... Some of the images I see are so clear and Im wondering just what they are doing
that Im not. I see it with shots on cameras less
expensive cameras than the D300!

Thank you so much Fabrice. Yes its just two miles down the road. Its really nice area.
Im use to so much beauty to shoot. Have not been
here but about 6 months so have really been enjoying it. Mountains all around and its close
to the Blue Ridge Parkway and that's almost a 500 mile road that runs through the Appalachian Mountians. Great area indeed Fabrice.

By waiting that 30 or 40 minutes you did get the lights along the shoreline which added to the picture I think. It was still a nice enough shot that you got an award for it even though you didn't get the shot you were trying to get. Congrats!
