yeah clay I got a pretty good one with regards to details here. Was very happy with it. They are something to watch!
Very smart little fellows for sure. The sun is like in and out and its a bit tricky to catch them at the right moment.

Every pixel of the humming bird is just right ( focus, color etc ) The D300 does a fine job.

Nice and sharp Paul!
We have a couple of Hummingbirds coming to our feeder now. They seem to only come out just before dark. The poor guys have to chase the wasps away first. Then they fight among themselves. It's tough work being a Hummingbird!
