About Susie, before changing her name to Hebrew to Rachel, was interned for 5 years (age3-8) in an internment camp on Mauritius. (1940-45.) We visited the Island in 1999 & inundated by her memories, Rachel wrote 30 short stories in a Hebrew book she called "Sweet Lemons." The book was published by the Israel Institute for Commemoration & Study of the Holocaust, "Yad Vashem" to be taught in our schools. It is now in the process of being published in English
