I agree - a wide angle lens would give a more dramatic effect.

I have been up there and the view is breathtaking, and a wide angle lens would definitely capture that feeling.

Still an excellent shot, from the deep blue tones, the orange radiating off the sun in the back, this is definitely a great one.
