Oh okay, not quite the same thing in this case, I think it is more the fact they know we aren't a threat to them, but more a subject of curiosity.

Hi Edward,
The Canada Geese in the Toronto area are a real problem in some places. They quite often decide not to migrate. Too many people feed them and they become used to people. Here's a shot from a couple of years ago.

Can't say I have much experience with Canada Geese, at least not with them on the ground. Do they have a tendency to walk right up to you?

It must have been a great experience to do all that shooting down there. I like the composition of this one. Funny though, from your description to Aylin, it sounds like the Penguins down there behave much like our Canada Geese up here. :)

The rule was that we weren't allowed to get closer than 5 meters to the penguins, fortunately the penguins didn't know the rule and often walked right up to us.
