St.kitts is on the north from the Caribbean.A beautiful and a very green island.Very different from the other island what I have seen.this island has over 40 000 monkeys and they are living all over.They are very shy and it's not easy to get shots of them.But they are very friendly.These monkeys are smaller as the baboons from Afrika..and I don't know if they are so friendly??

These monkeys were very friendly but very shy and soooo quick,that it was not easy to get shots of them!!
I was going every morning behind the hotel and when they have seen me they went away but they came back all the time,they were too curious..LOL!! It was funny to watch them!!I did a lot of pictures from them but some of them i can throw away:))!

Forgive my absence ..I have somewhat gotten a bit more of a life -ha!! I am sooooo behind and I love your images so much as they teach me a lot about foriegn countries and they are also beautiful to view such as this green monkey !! I have never seen one before - I can see what you mean by the expression and intensity of the eys... Your timming as usual was perfect my dear ...love this pose- ha !! You got him all inside the frame even that looong tail :))
I wuold bet they could be fun to play with maybe (?) My sister recently returned from Panama and said the monkeys there were very friendly ...but I know all are different with differnt personalitites ...this is definitely a 7++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Never knew St Kitts had monkeys and soooo many.
Wonderful capture with a tight crop and excellent dof to get everything in sharp focus.
Glad that your experience in the Caribbean was wonderful,hope your next visit you will enjoy the 'Beautiful Island of St. Lucia'.The second most beautiful after Jamaica BUT then i`m bias.

Not here my dear Riny...they were to shy!I went early in the morning behind the hotel because they were there sometimes,first the ran away...then after a while they came back to see if I'm still there..it was too funny.But only one move from me the ran away again.But I'm sure that they can steal...:)

well the frame is EXCELLENT... what a tightness and also very good way to include the tail...yeap, the most of the times the tail being out of the frame when we try a so tight frame but not here... excellent job, hahaha.... red eyes... makes that little one looks bad! :-D

You are right Linda!This island was so different from the other ones.So very green,I like it very much!To do a cruise is fantastic..the huge ship and everything,but you don't have the same feeling from an island when you are there only for one day.So with the car you can see how people are living,how they are working and perhaps the not so beautiful side from the island!!If you want to go one more time to an island you have to see St.Kitts,I'm sure that you like it too...the people are poor but so very friendly.

I have seen some of the islands but not St Kitts, sounds like a must go, and it sounds like you did it the right way, there is no way to see much or should I say photograph much when you are on a cruise...I like what you did here...:)

LOL...no problem Linda:)St.Kitts has over 40 000 monkeys and they are all over in the woods.Not in the City of course but you can see them overland.They are very shy and very quick.Not easy to get one they are all the time on move,I took so many shots..LOL!!No cruise Linda I was on three islands where I rent a car and saw therefore the whole island...and I made two times a viste with a ferry to other islands only for one day.
