I see the image is a year old...... but you have a lot of really cool stuff to look through here.
Absolutely stunning image Nicole. I have never seen an image showing the secrets of flight, so well. Who would ever think the front wing feathers would ever look like this.
Way cool and a two thumbs up on your one of a kind flight photo.

Wow, excellent shot, Nicole. Very sharp - just lok at those water droplets behind the bird. Too bad you did not mention the shutter speed you used to shoot this image bt I gues it must have been quite fast.

No,I took this shot at St.Martin...Netherlands Antillen.This was a really great place with 10 pelicans and they were not shy at all.They catched some fishes and therefore I got them very well.

No it was at midmorning and it was very bright nearly to bright to taken shots but it was a nice place with a lot of brown pelicans ,the first time that I saw brown ones.And I could not resist...LOL!!!
