Q. Comments and ratings

As a member and donor I post my photos here to get them reviewed so I can grow and become a more complete photographer. However, many times my pictures will be viewed and I will receive very little if any feedback on them.

I wonder if perhaps an ebay like system of mutual rating could work as a reward that would encourage people to comment?

Something along the lines of I found this comment to be useful so I rate this individuals comment highly. Then his commenting score increases. If they leave unhelpful comments or view without leaving a comment then their comment rating goes down.

Even if this was open exclusively to donors it would be helpful. I notice that when comments are left, the most valuable information comes from donors. Further it would discourage transients from wrecking the system by opening new accounts strictly to avoid the rating system.

Just a thought. Keep of the good work, I'm loving the new look and feel.
