Q. Photo Studio 5.5 Layering Help

Hello-

I just got the Photo Studio 5.5 program with my digital camera and I'm wondering if anyone could explain how to work with layers on it. I was working with Picture It before, so I've never worked with layering photos.

Someone recommended that I sharpen a layer on one of my photos and then layer it onto the original, but I have no idea of how to do it.

Please help!
