Very nice abstract! Bravo!

(And also some credit to urban architects- and their sponsors!- who have changed our visual universe so fundamentally that we need now to prove or extract the Beauty out of it!...)

But first of all thank you for capturing and sharing this lovely composition!

Hi Todd,

works very well with the strong red here. thought about a bw version... but I guess the color is fine. good work.

hi Larry...not sure what this building is, it's just down the street from my apt, so i'll look and let you know. it's near Loring Park though, and is not an apartment. not sure the buildings you are talking about, but i look forward to seeing the photos! cheers,
todd

Its miller time, ok what building is this, it has either a highrise apt or hospital feel to it, great tone to the bricks versus the metal curtainwall.

I got some good abstracts of the Waterford Plaza in Plymouth, the all glass buildings near 55, Hwy 169 I will post soon, keep shooting....

thanks KC...i ripped the title off from DJ Shadow. the song itself is better than the title.

hi Hansi,
i think you're definitely right about the colors with the new cam. i don't know if it's a matter of a larger lens, or larger CCD, but the end result is much more sensitive to reality than the coolpix was.
Entroducing is one of my faves too...great album.

Maybe it's the light in the last posts but I imagine the color rendering is subtler/richer with the D70? Anyway a great urban study again. And "Entroducing DJ Shadow" has remained something of a staple in my cd-player.
