Vodka! I should've named it "Liquor bound" as to being more politically correct since I've applied it in Western style.

The answer, as you could see, is in the title. The guy had been giving a speech while there still was some liquor left. Once over, he packs up to chase some more. To finish to the story..lol And that was not staged, the story and all..
