About I finally got some Rain-X! Thanks for the tip, Dan.

Dan Lightner is the master of this type of image. This is a shot of a flower taken through drops of water on a sheet of glass treated with Rain-X placed above it. The Rain-X helps get good high beads.

Lovel effect, John. Dan Leitner must have been a good photographer to learn from, Nevertheless, this creartion is yours. I once had a teacher in my profession. When I told him that all I was doing was to impplement and build on what he had taught me he said that this is the way of progress.
Thank you for your very kind comment on my "Composition in light."
Best regards,
Rafi

Another 7, the "micro images" are so well resolved and the slightly desaturated yellow is really cool looking.

Fascinating concept, very well executed. Produces an interesting image. I think this would support a whole series of different flowers, distances between glass and flower, and arrangement of water drops.

Hi AJ. Superb. Love the refraction, as well as the simplicity in tones; almost a perfect duotone. Excellent composition, too. Great stuff!

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Ron! Thanks for your comment. Rain-X is stuff you are supposed to put on your windscreen to make the water bead up and bounce off. If I've got any left after this I'll try it out on what it was meant for...

Very creative shot. What is rain-x? You spray it on glass? put water drops on? hold it above flower? shoot down? that is so cool!
