Hi Emily

How long ago were you out there photographing?

I had a bit of a dilemma recently from the property managers wanting to know how I gained access and what permission was sort. The security company also got a bit hot under the collar as well.

There is supposed to be a blanket no access policy applied to the site. So i think the chances of getting back in there are slim to say the least.

I would like to hear of your experiences with Tokanui.

Regards
Mark Hamilton

Hi Mark,
Have just discovered your series on Tokanui. Fantastic images, love the tonal quality and composition. I've been photographing there myself, and thought I'd do a bit of research on the net to see who else was out there...

Great light, tones and composition.
Very bleak yet quite beautiful as well.

Hi Mark,
I like the way ones eye is drawn into the picture. The sense
of hoplesness is very strong.
Good stuff!

Another telling image from this series Mark. The desaturated colours and the selective focus technique add a great deal of impact. Cheers John
