Great Idea. A unique point of view. I love the perspective of the image, also the lady in motion adds up to the over all feel of the image. Had this been in some other location, i think the impact would not have been as such.

Interesting POV and a great self. The speed allows for motion in the upper body of the passerby while keeping her foot and boot still and quite legible. Excellent work Congrats on the awards. Regards Ron.

It is a kind of concept varite.
Between darkness and lightness, white and black,
between lines, calm and movement...
But all them are in the universe!
Its contrast is great.
Excelent...7***

jolies chaussures !
bon, soypns sérieux : la trouvaille ici, c'est la perspective donnée par le livre ouvert. Je ne comprends pas bien comment tu t'es photographié toi-même avec ce livre ouvert en avant-plan, mais soit ! Le résultat est très séduisant !

Thanks to everybody for those so kind comments.

The person passing isn't arranged at all. I saw that gothic girl coming and I thought it could make a great effect so I focused on the lines of the ground and waited her to arrive (about 1 second). I would have hated me if I had missed her.

This picture shows how much the hotographer can do with its camera. In every daily situation around us there's always 'hiden' a great scene, often too subtle or short in time to be discovered by the single eye. Those scenes can be frozen by a trained and sensible eye.
Excellent work, at all.
