Hehe, an apple was always trivial until they invented the supreme fascist (=god), Visar!. ;-) Since then all apples are "dangerous" except of course from Apple Macintosh! ;-)
The image looks indeed "harsher" than your usual work but I couldn't locate any specific problematic regions by myself. So even in your "msitakes" your whole is still more tha the sum of its details.
hm, you make me curious for that image of yours Nick. I am looking forward to it.
... there was an iron web/ mesh covering the half of the lower composition from the front, which i had to clone off; and also, the distant background, where i had to do some slight modifications (and which i did not do properly) and that are noticeable. so, there is a few minor technical inconveniences in this image that somehow do not fully convince me; but just like the tempting apple, i could not resist in making it public. at least the humanity won't suffer this time as much as it happened (as according to the scriptures). this time, we have an almost trivial subject on the matter. hope so! ;)
i do believe that each page, as you put it, is a different one; first for the mere fact of being another page and secondly, because we only presume another one- and, there is no way we may deduct something alike because we had another one with stated laws~ that is something, that finds me reluctant to it. any intrudor, being it a superpower/ being that God, or anything as such, as the constructor of all the corridors we are to pace through in the course of our living, is something that i will not consider.
beside, i like when humans are mocking around, highly confidential, with the traditional and moral and valuable ways and manners that were inherited to us. that's why i loved the idea of a modern Adam, with clothes and not naked, reaching for 'the apple' in full confidence.
You may laugh now, Visar, but I did a very very similar one with my Hassie last month... Different subject but the same method. You will see.
I am amazed here (exactly as you, I think) about the subtle separation, about the differentiation of the many qualities of darkness, a differentiation which at the end generates solid, perceivable textures and objects with well visible details.
The guy provides then a very welcome sense for a bit of "action" in an otherwise rather still image, and the motion blur seems to enhance that very well too. I find it even more astonishing, I must say, that his contours against the dark background are still so perceivable, though not really definite in the sense of absolute position. Once more your "whole" is more than its parts, Visar!
BTW, some more red apples could bring more but as always... nature cares not a single bit about what we call "photogenic". ;-)
Cheers!
Nick
P.S.:
"And the point of being strong gets lost cause everything thats beautiful is either sad or by mistake"
That's very strong! It is strong not in the sense of the hollywoodian romanticism as respected by most, no. It is string quite the opposite way since it reveals the non-existence of a "godly plan" behind all we may find "beautiful".
Nobody ever cared if we, some kind of primitive anthropoids, are going to develop concepts about "beautiful" and "ugly". For the universe such miserable concepts are irrelevant, but nonetheless, it was the same universe that generated us. And so it may also have made a mistake by that. ;-)
P.S.2: I don't write verses of poems or songs anymore here, Visat, since most of the time they are read by minds that never think. But since in your case I can't assume anything else than a mind that thinks very sharply, I dare a comparison: Another paraller I think I comperhend here:
We swear it on the Bible If wanted on the Koran It's always good for trouble To have a holy ghost We have made the decision There is forgiveness, if you need But this is not in this world You have to wait and wait and wait
There is no - no other way You can't just believe what you want No other way - no no You can read it in the book, what's good or bad
Heaven is there where hell is And hell is down on earth, Heaven is there where hell is And hell is down on earth.
Great illustration to the poem; I like the blurry man and more sharp, well presented apple. And yeah, that should be he; maybe woman is curious but also more cautious often ;) ;)
yes Visar,Gods Manifestations. and each is a page different from all other pages of the book of existence, may be there are similar words in different pages, but not the same all page ,and even the words may give some other meanings. about the shot ,it is always occurred to me that he who have the apple and not her contrary to the common believe, and in this regard the shot and the poem are complementary, and if we revert to the common believe ,it should be her in the poem and in the shot, stay well and fine, Saad.
hi Saad, and thanks for the effort in writing the comment.
your first two verses are clear to me, but i do not understand the last one! can you give another attempt in writing what you wanted to say? do you actually mean to say by "his manifestation"= "god's manifestations"? because, then, perhaps, i might be interested in knowing what you know and understand about us and 'his' manifestation, on me (for example)!
anyway, both, the picture and the poem, are made with the same intention- and, in addition, there is nothing wrong with the man reaching for the apple- at least not as much as it might be if it were (as we are told) a woman!! think about it!
I think it is about the poem ,not about the shot, if it is about the shot then it should be she not he, forgive my little understanding of the poem, but what I know and understand that we ,all of what it includes ,living and or non are some types of his manifestations, stay well, Saad.
