This one caught my attention from the thumbnail. Wonderful shot to look at. The special effect is very nice, adds a dreamy quality to the picture along with the cool earthy tones. You could lower the opacity on the effect layer to fool the eye more and make people uncertain that they are looking at a manipulated image.
Great work all the same and goes to my favs! :)

This is a wonderfull photo.
But (there is always a but), under my taste, i dont like much that effects on image, despite they look well in other photos you have, like in the "Dreamy Walk", for example :)

Jeg kan se, at jeg bliver nødt til at finde min gamle tysk-danske ordbog nu:-)
Hvis jeg forstår dig ret efter at have set på dit dejlige stemningsfulde foto, så vil du gerne have vejen placeret anderledes, så den ikke er så centeret? Godt at du minder mig om 1/3 reglen, selvom jeg generelt går efter at eksperimentere og bryde reglerne;-)
Himlen var meget grå den dag, så landskabet var ikke særlig kulørt, men måske vil det gøre fotoet smukkere. Tak for din store hjælp. Du er en skat!

Im Vergleich zum letzen Bild, ist dieses sehr gut. Vergiss aber nie die 1/3 Regel. Den Winkel ein wenig nach unter verlagert gibt dem Bild schon eine andere Note. Das Bild wäre anders aufgeteiel. Da wäre der Weg, der zum Gatter führt und durch das leichte Verschieben nach unten besser zur Geltung kommt. Somit weniger Himmel und viel mehr Farbe im Bild. Das wäre eine ganz kleine Korrektur die das Bild um einiges verbesser würde. Nicht falsch verstehen, das ist ein sehr schönes Bild, welches mir außerordentlich gut gefällt. Mit dem Bild könnte man sehr viel machen und es würde immer gut aussehen.
PS: Schau Dir mal mein Bild " York Town Virginia " und dann erkennst Du was ich meine.

This picture remains me of scenes from my childhood. Therefor I like Your shot. I guess the purpose of looking at art is to evoke feelings or remember past experiences. Your shot is somber and moody. I like the "quiet" colors here, easy and relaxing. The little person at the gate makes nice addition to the overall athmosphere. Very well done. Good exposure, an because You hit my personal soft spot I will give You a 7
