About Taken down in the Snake River Canyon, by Melba ID. This area is the swans falls dam.

This was taken using my 248mm adapter.
It very clearly shows the compression of space that happens when using a telephoto lens.
The curve on the right hand side is 1/4 to 1/2 a mile away.
The haze is because of the excessive wildfire smoke in the area.

Thanks for the comment Paul.
this caught my eye as I looked through the view finder and I think best shows the area for the conservation that is happening.

I am very pleased with the quality of this lens.
Just having to get used to a telephoto hand held or use my tripod.

Keith,
This was not taken with a filter.
The camera that i use is a point and shoot.
It has two adapter lenses. A wide and and a telephoto.
The telephoto is what you see here.
I could have removed some of the haze with a filter but the lens is not threaded on the front so my filters will not pop on.

I agree with the sky but any tampering with the file would have been evident due to the haze mismatch that would have shown up.

The rushes in the foreground are very sharp Mike, this shows a good lens, I like the image very much, well done

Mike. Im guessing that you are talking about filter that clips on front of lens. If im right, it does a great job. Only thing i would do is either put some colour in for the white sky or crop that bit out. Its distracting from a great scene. Well done. Cheers Keith
