About This is my grandparents arriving at their 50th anniversary party.
The 39 Chevy is owned by my uncle Mike.
They thought it would be an interesting way for them to arrive.
First thing my Grandma says is "They found a car as old as me"

I know there is a blow out on her jacket but i just liked them and the car!
Also this was taken at the College of Southern Idaho, Rose Garden.

Added Grain and Sepia toning for effect with the old time car I thought it was fitting!

The car was a focal point to me as it shows that they really have been together for 50 years.
I can understand about not wanting to age your photo s like that though!
The toning and noise were the best way i could think of to present this image with the feel that I was looking for!

It certainly looks the part to me, nothing ages an image like a car thats why I try not to include cars.
The grain and sepia toning is the icing on the cake

Thanks for your comment.
Have a whole series that are going to get toned and noise added then printed into a coffee table book so that the even is never far from their mind.

The look of happiness in their eyes makes this shot for me.

Hi Mike,
First of all let me congratulate your grandparents on reaching the big 50, wonderful to hear these days.
I love the photo it is very nostalgic and shows a loving couple who are still content with each other after all those years.
