This is just amazing! I would never have guessed! It is your rotating things that just make something new. The bit you cut is barely a centimetre in reality! Unbelievable mileage from so little. And to have that idea. Just brill to learn things like that- thanks Mark.

Hi Mary, glad you liked. The rays are from the lower part of your guitar. I cropped just where the bridge is. I then made the part where they originate the bottom of the picture by rotating it so it was at the bottom. Then the burn tool to "create" the sunrise. When you mentioned in one of your comments you felt like it was a sunrise, that was a great idea on what to do.

Mark, to me that is definitely the sun and it is wrapping me up! So I definitely like! What it really is, I'll now be wondering! It matches the colours of the lamp behind my mini guitar. So warm and full. It reminds me of the warmth in your "mimic" where the clouds mimic shape - different picture, but something rang a bell immediately.

I am not going to even postulate how long it took you to thread them. The clarity is beautiful too, you asked me how I change things. hope you like.

Hi Susie- no, I've never had a tripod- handy to know it makes that much difference though if I go shopping for one! Good idea about using the timer more- I often don't think of that unless I want pictures with no one left out!

Wow Mary, I never would have guessed it is so small! You did a great job. Do you ever use a tripod? I just say that because of your comment about shaky hands. I only started using one a lot within the last couple of months and for stationary objects it does wonders. Also if you can use your timer on your camera it takes out even more shake from when you press the shutter. Just my 2 cents! ) Again, great job!

Sorry Ace, I got so into your ideas, I never put your name in my reply referring to your "such great ideas"!

Mary Slade   {K:40338} 3/12/2006
Such great ideas and beautifully said. We often don't realise how important music is. But in a way that is a good sign in that it has been knitted into us and is part of us. Can make us full of life. It can be as important as sitting in silence- we can reflect what we think and feel which has already been put there by the words and notes. My daughter is always "bopping" about to her headphones which is a lively sight!

i wanted to post an article dont want to comment. i got emotional whenever i see musical stuff :)

Music inspires not only the soul of the great musician, but every infant which, the instant it comes into the world, begins to move its little arms and legs with the rhythm of music. Therefore it is no exaggeration to say that music is the language of beauty; of The One every living soul has loved. And when one realizes this and recognizes the perfection of all beauty as God, our Beloved, one understands why the music we experience in art and in the whole universe should be called the Divine Art.

thanks & good luck

Thanks for writing Susie- just measured it for the first time! (guessing numbers I'd be well out!). The glass body is an inch. Non shaky hands and a more powerful camera would have got it better I'm sure!
