Thanks Ray,
I got a little lucky with this one with the award, I think. I like both versions too. But, I was making an attempt to stick with the same mood as the portrait before this one, so I stuck with a sepia copy for the theme.

Hi Andre well done to you my friend...richly deserved. I like the mono best as it captures the mood perfectly, just as you intended. The colour shot also has it's merits, so a good idea to post both. Great compo....best wishes Ray

I didn't really expect this one to get any kind of an award, but I'll take it:)
The dunes on the other side out of the picture to the left went on for miles and were even more spectacular.
Good thing I'm not taking credit for the poetry :)
It's from the old pop song "Boys Of Summer" by Don Henely. Kind of loses it's effect without the rock music backing up the words.
