Hi Michael... it was a mirror. If you ever visit Maryland, I'll show you this little shop of horrors... ...Brad

Yep, I was waiting until you were done with the series before I wanted to comment. I just haven?t had the time recently. Brad, I love the series and I think I?m going to comment on them from back to front. First of all, how did you get this shot? Was it a mirror? Or an assistant? Nonetheless it?s a powerful picture to end the series with.

Jeez louise, after reading the coms i have come to the conclusion that there are many scaredy-cats here at UF! See what you did? your images created a very disturbing atmosphere and perhaps touched some psyches here...hmmm? can one claim post-traumatic stress after viewing the Prue asylum series??? hehehe....."i'll neeeeeeever teeeeell"

Now,about this image....there is something very disturbing about ....your lifeline!!! ;>

Fun series,Bradkins...~saucy gayle (the about words suit your series)

Part of me wants to reach out and part of me feels reluctant. The most scary thing about this all is the words you wrote about "I have cut a path so many times". Very haunting work and words. I am so glad that you have the ability to go into this place, as I know I could never do it such a thing, and share these images with us~

No Brad, i?m NOT thinking that you are loosing you mind, not at all! It?s just the serie that are dark....but i never said there?s something wrong with that. It?s rather moving and as i said - strong!!!!

Jeanette....I'm really not losing my mind. It certainly IS a dark place, to say the least. The creepy factor was over-the-top, but I found it to be profoundly touching, thought provoking, and very sad. It has caused me to pause and consider the plight of those who's broken minds and spirits come to these places to be healed. It seems such a difficult place to be able to heal.

Ian...very perceptive of you! This IS actually where they attempted to quell not only revolution, but self importance, I am sure. This was an interragation room, with double sided mirror/glass. The walls were tiled with acoustic material, so they could more more effectively play over and over, the recorded explainations and confessions of those being interviewed. Creepy stuff, mate.

Your asylum serie are so dark and have a strong mood! I don?t even know if there?s any hope here at all - a wish there?s, but who knows. Strong!!!

Brad, be careful...you are cannibalizing your images with your words.
They say that a picture is worth a "thousand words." I believe that your "few words" evoke unparalleled imagery. When combined with your par excellent composition, I am just lost calculating the multiplier effect:) Q.E.D.

An immensely memorable experience, Brad, with a beautifully poignant ending. Your genuine compassion, insight, and artistic gifts shine through each image. I will continue to hear their echos for a long time to come.

You glimmer, my friend.
