The Clive Barker Hellraiser idea is at work here (hooks on fishline tearing into people). Obvious iconographic similarity to Christ on the cross in her resigned expression and pose. And of course how two strings are connected to her hands. This is risky territory for photography, which invariably falls far short of the mark set for such serious Christian subject matter. It is best left to those rare artists with the vision, intelligence and skill to handle it -- Michaelangelo, da Vinci, Rembrandt. That said, you haven't embarrassed yourself at all.
