About It was so beautiful there. This is an up close shot of Mt. Hood from an earlier Ultra Wide Shot of the mountain. If you look close enough you can see snow blowing off of the various points on the mountain. Enjoy! :)

Hi Robert...Mt. Hood is in Oregon and is one of the big volcano's in the Ring of Fire on the West Coast in the US. Geologist's don't know whether is will be this one or Mt. Ranier in Washington to errupt next. Thanks!

I am on the East Coast and was just getting ready to go to sleep when your email popped up; thanks so much for the compliment & I have a couple from Ranier but it was mostly cloudy when I was at its base...I will definitely have to get back there. :)

Congrats for being chosen featured donor photographer on front page,Rob!...yeah,it is pretty,but our WA state Mt.Rainier is just drop dead gorgeous!;> ...i have one of our mt.with a low cloud formation in my portfolio...and i do see the blowing snow!...the sky is my favorite color "true blue"..regards,gayle
