I've been to T'chad, but not Niger. Looks similarly desperate.

I wonder what takes you to Italy and Niger?

Anyway - this was a hard shot to take with the high contrast that blew out the background to preserve the foreground and shadow details. However, it does convey the hot sun and dusty landscape well.

I like it.
