Thins is great Marcus
I think the detail is every bit as good as mine and your is in flight.
I need the birds to listen to me when I tell them to hold still !
LOL
Great shot.

Thanks Waleed, I was a portrait photographer, and have been taking pictures since I was 13, im 32 now, I really have no fun anymore from portraits, I do take thousands of landscapes and have them on my computer, I have a few posted, not my best work, but just to have something between bird shots, I have since stopped doing that and have removed many of them as the challenge of bird photography is my real love so that is what I post, I dont think I have pulled out my tripod in months.....
Thanks again..

Wow! Fantastic freeze! Great work. I hope to get shots like this someday. I'm sure my brand new 20D will help!

I can imagine that, excellent work again (my comment must be boring by now...) Today my dog captured a duck she lays it down and sit a long side off. Just as she watches me a big bird came and stole the duck away needed you there to capture it or your skills (i only caried a pocket camera and was also to late).

Cheers
Karel

I really think the 100-400L set at the 6mm position is just as fast at focusing as the 70-200L, I was shooting or trying to shoot hummingbirds in flight and had that lens attached, I saw the fisher coming by and took the shots, It was a strech for the lens, managed 2 decent shots out of a 20 burst, the 400 would have rendered a much more detailed sharper shot.. I will always believe that the 100-400L is the best bang for the buck in the canon lineup... thanks for your comment Steve...

Like George, I looked at the thumb & new it was one of yours! Notice you used 70-200L this time. Boy you have a lot of great kit!

Curious settings (not that I am in a position to comment!), but a great result. I presume the 70-200 focusses a lot faster than the 100-400?
Regards
Steve.
