Siempre parto de fotos, casi siempre de murales callejeros y arte urbano, fotografío mucho el trabajo de artistas plásticos amigos también. Me suelo enfocar mucho en los detalles y los saco del contexto de la pintura original. Luego trabajo arduamente para mejorar o lograr algo nuevo y diferente a partir de lo que he fotografiado.
Si te interesa saber como hago estos trabajos puedo enviarte los originales en Photoshop con sus capas y diferentes efectos.

hi Gustavo,
while looking at this image, much of the works of cubism era pop into my mind- like that of Picasso, and alikes.
what i find hard to do, and which seems that you have managed quite too well to work it out, is the combination of the colours- red and green, which i my understanding are amongst the hardest to harmonize!! one bursts out in tension and the other in calmness- and they both take form and character in a portrait- which yet, shows a balanced imbalance- just as absurd as any other surrealistic work.
