Location City -  Mosul
State -
Country - Iraq   Iraq
About this is not at another planet, this is on our planet earth,at Iraq, and in Mosul particularly, because of there is only two hours power each twelve hours, some people brought a big generator to each living quarter, where they sells powers to the houses for certain fee,and it is a very high one compared to the official fee, what you see is the wires from this generator as it goes to the houses.

Hi Stan, When Bush was "elected" the 2nd time I was in disbelief. They fought a dirty misinformation battle against Kerry and we have paid for it dearly. I personally write and email my representatives about many important issues and am politically involved in some important groups that are trying to make a difference. The corporation have a strangle hold on many that are suppose to represent us that seem to think of the right thing as being what is good for them. Hopefully with Obama we can turn the direction around as much as possible. Short of a real revolution I feel it is a hard battle to be fought. Greed and excess are a hard habit to break. I pray that at some point we can see some meaningful change. I pray for God's blessings for a nation led astray by the wrong people for the wrong reasons.
Be well, Stan

My dear friend,I know that very well even more than you thing, but it's blame United States in the eyes of the world anyway.
Whot kind of democracy you have up there.
The evil always will winer if the the good/right people will do anything against.
Wish you the best ever.
God Bless America.

Dear Stan, Actually GW lost the popular vote both times and was never really elected. There real great irregularities in Florida the first time and there were great irregularities in Ohio the second time. GW had less than 50% of the popular vote both times. The only way he won was through the Supreme Court the first time and by the Diebolt voting machines in Ohio with no record of the actual votes cast. The electoral college which is the final vote is done by the population density of the largest states. Montana only has 3 votes in this process. California and New York have a large part of the process with many of the larger states. If it was by popular vote alone there would have been no GW and no war. Very few people have ever supported the war that I have talked to. We had no say in it whatsoever. The Bush administration and the ignorant Congress and House bought into the lies that made this happen. I am distraught that an illegal war that was not sanctioned by the American people or the United Nations could have been brought down on a sovereign through lies and poor intelligence. I had to fight in Viet Nam and have some strong feelings against any war. Check the real fact of the elections in 2000 and 2004. I will find some links for you and send them to you.
Be well, Stan

Dear Stan, but most of Americans wote for such president twice...
similar like 85% of Germans wote for A.Hitler and support him during the horible W.W.II
Today they are seing it was nazi.
The tragic poore Iranias people will always accuse Americans. That it.

Good Time Sir,
you know where I live, and I am not so familiar with your habits, and costumes,so if I have known that (yes, thank you )would pleases you more, then I would have done it,
for your information my friend,I respond to every thing, here at UF in Arabic, even my thoughts, and behavior, and then just translate that to an English word, this an important fact, that may be,and again may be some friends are not aware of.
so if a friend here in Iraq ask me to use my shots,I would reply immediately even without thinking,in Arabic words ,do whatever you like without telling me,
so I hope my dear friend that you are understand my behavior now,
yours
Saad.

Saad, I only wish that this had never even been the case. Most Americans never wanted this to happen. No votes before a war. This has been a nightmare for you and yours to endure. I hope that with the new President that things might turn around for your country. I have you and your country in my thoughts daily. I feel horrible every time another senseless bombing or tragedy happens to the innocents of your land.
Be well, Stan

Dear Stan, this is started at the beginning of the nineties, when the Yankees starts to bombs the electric power stations, and many other industrial factories, for the Iraq to get out of Kuwait, after that ,came the blockade that is also lead by the Yankees,so Iraq cant repair what is destroyed, and then came the occupation, also lead by the Yankees, and they supposed to be responsible for the welfare of the Iraqi people,it seems that they don't have money to spend on stupid issue like the power,
my best regards,
Saad.

Thanks Saad, this is amazing at the least. I wish it was not so!! How long have you been on such a limited power grid? Was it like this before the war? Are there any signs of improvement yet?
Be well my friend and come to my wagon anytime you like, Stan
