Hi Julie, good atmosphere capture. I also like the complete reflection in the building glass even at the cost of some more floor foreground. It is a good choice I think. The only point is that the focus goes to the empty chair which should have been moved a little bit to the left getting a full contrasting light background. If I was you I had moved a little bit to the right or if maybe impossible, I had gone to chair and moved it myself to the left next getting back to the original POV. Animals would have gone, but I guess these people would have stayed talking to each other. Quick decisions based on assumptions and predictions with hopefully optimised results. Big hug from Paul

David

hmm.. the reason you don't like the b/w is because the b/w looks flat. you have to play with curves, levels and layers in PS to make b/ws more intense.

Good one Julie. Maybe Avi is right. A little more to the left would have helped. I was thinking about another frame for this shot. Including just the two men the sculpture and the empty chair and just the white wall in the background. A nice minimalist composition.

Nice shot, I love the way the elements placed into your frame Julie... nothing is in frond of the other... ok, perhaps the middle chair, could be a bit to the left OR you could have a bit to the left point of view to put that black metallic chair on the white marble... details... excellent shot, especially for a snapshot.

I wasn't really looking to emphasize the chair just though the whole scene was interesting. I couldn't come up with another title...lol but totally see your point about the chair ;)
I added the b&w on my reply to Deb, I think I like the color version better.

Hello dear Julie ,
Hmmmmmm ...this image gives me much to think about - besides the empty chair - I wonder and speculate why these people sit outside in front of the exhibit , etc.
I do like the architecture, exposure, reflections and tones of the composition very much -:))
Hugs, & kisses, Michele~

I was just going to say the same, when I saw what Deb said.. :)
one more thing: if you want to emphasize the empty chair, you should have taken one/two steps to the right.. so that the chair's entire frame came against the white bg. here, it's getting lost a bit. you have to make these little adjustments while shooting.
