Exeptional idea!
Very well done. Perfect the contrast between the snow and the train!

I must have taken great imagination to present this beautiful picture this way.

He he he! I remember this one from a few weeks back, and now it's on the front page! Congratulations once again on a great shot - I'm really pleased to see it highlighted on UF.

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique This works so well, with the colours against the background. And I like the way the snow seems to fade into the UF background. This is a marvellous image which must have involved a major stitching effort.

Hi, Sandra. Sure it would. But are we the ones to choose? All the steamers are somewhere on the reserve parkings just in case there is no electricity and we are in the middle of the world conflict. That is a joke. I was in a quest for exotic “snow-covered-trees” photos. That doesn’t last long. Either you get it or you miss it. You can see those trees in the background. That train (or a locomotive?) was just a passing accident.
You had rain? From what you’ve said about the water shortages I presume it is a long wanted phenomenon. Congratulations. We have rain too, but it’s rain with snow. And that’s a very big difference indeed! Valery

This is such a cute little photo with a cute little train! Actually, wouldnt it ahve looked great with a long colourful steam engine with that backdrop...I still like it though!
