Hi Gene - Shana Tova!

"...Great shot-just one question- Why such a slow shutter speed? ..."

I had my Canon A620 digicam on aperture-priority and set to ISO 50 as ususal. I normally don't like to go over ISO 50 or 100, otherwise the noise gets noticable. So anyway, since the sun was pretty low in the western sky, 1/25 sec was what the camera selected for the f/4.5 lens opening. I had the lens zoomed out somewhat, and there could only have opened it up another 1/2-stop or so.

Best regards,
SteveR

Hello Steve,

this shot rocks!
Amazing contrast between the old building and the new one; beautiful reflection; the presence of the people brings much points to the final compostion.

Very well seen and executed!
Well done!

Wishing you all the best,
Renato
