Well, I disagree with AJ Miller I love the balance of more sky than building. The blue in the building and the darker blue sky at the top of the photo match in tone perfectly. If it was cropped you would miss this color tone which makes the eye roam all over the canvas so to speak.
The trees on the right match the trees on the left in color and texture so both sides are ballanced as well.
The statue at the top is insignifacant in comparssion to the three colors tones that make this photo so interesting. Blue White and Green and shades thereof.
In my opinion the photo is perfect.
Guess thats what makes the world go around!!!:)

I also agree with John. Was going to type that until I saw what he wrote. The 2 things that stand out is, not enough of the cathedral, you don't get the details with normal accompanies it and the white i the picture is overexposed, making you lose even more details. Keep up the good work.

Yes, indeed. A lot of ideas. Unfortunetly is a very long way from home to India, and it is improbable that I can go back there in the 2 next years, and even more improbable that I visit Goa again in a next visit to India. I live in Argentina.

As you've CC'd this, let me make take a closer look.
It looks like a fascinating building, but I feel the image is a little unbalanced - too much sky and not enough of the cathedral. I would like to see more of what's in the foreground (although you may have excluded this intentionally). I also find the two trees on the left lead my eyes away from the main subject.
Looks like there's a statue at the top of the stairs, in front of the cathedral, but this is somewhat lost against the background. A viewpoint further left could help here, so that the statue appears against the sky.
Hope this gives you some ideas,
