Hi Doyle, Eventhough I must admit the B&W one is very nice too, I think I unconciously always prefer colour - especially with digital cameras. There's a distinct difference in composition and choice of subjects when you take a B&W image, and as B&W is primarily based on contrasts and lighting, it's much more difficult to take a good B&W image, I believe.... I guess that's still a remainder of my basis in photography using film and an old manual camera....

Thanks Hugo . . . I must admit I'm a bit surprised you prefer the colour version . . . although, admittedly, it was kind of them to paint their helicopter a nice, complementary color.

Hi Doyle, I think you turned this into a very nice postcard. And I really like those colour versions too, Eventhough the B&W was nice, the colour version is much, much more appealing. well captured...:)

Perdonar mi carencia de la habilidad en español pero gracias tanto por tus comentarios y ayuda continua. Estudié el dialecto de Castillian del español por cuatro años tal vez treinta años pasado. Mis habilidades de lengua (desde entonces) se han influenciado pesadamente con el español que era hablado por los inmigrantes americanos centrales, sobre todo de México. Aunque lo leo fácilmente, para ser seguro, utilizo una traducción en línea para la lectura y la escritura. Aprecio mucho.

Juan: Forgive my lack of skill in Spanish but Thanks so much for your comments and continuous support. I studied the Castillian dialect of Spanish for four years about thirty years ago. My language skills have been (since then) heavily influenced with the spanish being spoken by Central American immigrants, mostly from Mexico. Although I read it easily, to be safe, I use an online translation for both reading and writing. I appreciate it very much.

Thanks Susie! Kind of you to comment and nice that since the 9/11 tragedy people like your husband have been recognized as heroes! People are heroic in their hearts and minds and may never be tested or able to show it. The people who choose this lifestyle have been well represented by the extraordinary number in their profession that responded so heroically to that challenge in New York.
