Excellent action shot Marcus!
Like an avian model on a catwalk!

Take away this guys wings and you can just imagine the relationship of these predators to the raptor dinosaurs. This shot really points that out.

Thanks Steve, I hope you do make it back here, I really missed out on shooting with you, It really was a bad time for me, but im all settled in with the new contract and getting more and more free time.. The funny think about this shot is the fact that we both took close to 300 shots as this bird roamed around the area including 10 of him walking off his meal, and the fact that we choose the same one is funnny as the others would have made just as good of a post....

Pretty funny seeing the shot by you and Yamil! Both are nice. I'm going to have to come back down there someday! It certainly is a good area to photograph raptors!

Hi Maurizio, you are exactly right, he had just eaten almost a half a seagull and was getting a running start to get off the ground, he ran and jumped twice before he got in the air...

it was weird to see two shots so similar posted so close together, both with excellent quality, so if someone looked quickly and not closely they would swear they were the same shot

Thanks Jason, I was standing like 10 feet behind him and there was another photographer probably 10 feet in front of yamil.. I didnt know he was going to post this shot as we took over 200 shots each while he ate a seagull....
