CorrieLynn, thanks so much for visiting my PF. Yes we lived in Omaha 27 years. I worked at the Stockyards selling cattle. Traveled Western Iowa and Nebraska in my work. When we retired we moved to the farm in St. Edward, Ne. Now live in Az. during the winter months. Take care. Don.

Oh this is so funny! Cattle can be some of the funniest bunch, its just often hard to put your finger on what it is...So perfectly captured.
So You're from omaha? My dad is from Council bluffs iowa, we were just in omaha a couple weeks ago visiting! My grandpa still lives there-he used to run the 'jacobsen heating and air conditioning' business. All of our family is in kansas, nebraska and iowa. I took a ton of pictures there, havnt posted them all yet.(and i found out the best photography store had been closed-deans- so sad!)
If you enjoy taking wild life/nature images, pay a visit to the new bass pro shop in council bluffs. That is just about the neatest store ive ever been in. While most the animals you find to photograph there will be dead and stuffed, they have a huge fish tank and waterfalls, its really very neat.(and i myself have NO interest in hunting or fishing;)
You have an inspiring portfolio!
Corrie

He's lucky he got those long horns to reach the itchy place. My sheep are using their horns the same way.

Dear Don
What a great shot, funny but achingly earnest at the same time.
Have been travelling over the last few months with no time to post anything, but now I am back home, will try to get some photos on the site soon. Reassuring to know however that your stream of great photos continues unchecked.
