Lovely. I?ve always liked the B&W images with one coloured detail. Very, very effective

I think this says it all with my fascination with window displays and the older parts of town. There is a sentimental mood here, also, that I'm sure you tried to convey. And it's quite a complex composition that's not so easy to manage. But you've done it quite well, IMA.

yeah, that's the funny thing about it, you can't decide. i guess the right word would be grotesque...

anyway, glad you like it!

This so much reminds me of "Bill and Ben" the flowerpot men .... how sad, I think I'm finally losing it lol

Excellent photo Paula, the B&W is very good indeed, and the little red sale sticker is great :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

Thanks a lot for your comment, Jarrod! Glad you like it. Yes, I edited the photo in PS: desaturated everything but the "sale" tag. There's no other change to it, though. I was considering getting rid of that shadow on the left, but in the end decided I liked the image the way it was.

Thanks again!

Cheers,
Paula

thank you, Gabriela! i also found it a sad sight... the shop was totally empty, with just these odd-looking creatures and a few curtain rails in the shopwindow... curious i thought.

:)

Amazing depth of field for a 1/2000 shutter speed. Nice shot. I assume this was edited in PS. Nice work. In would suggest spotting out the shadow next to the far left puppet. Should be rather easy to spot out.
