I agree...the grain brings more attention to the cat itself while the objects in the backround bring more character and reality to the photo.

i had to send this site link to my boyfriends mother who has 5 cats. one is a new kitten and she does the same thing! i am gonna have to start taking naps in my sink to see if it's just as comfortable for me as it is for Cat. good job! it's very, very cute and made me chuckle.

This is a very cute photo. The grain gives it character.

I'd better not let either of my cats see this; they already feel they own the rest of the house. This might give them greedy ideas about my last sactuary!
I like the grain, the crop, the framing, the subject... all of it. Going into my favs!
Good job!

Fantastic! You really captured the essence here. The lighting, symmetry, grain, and selective focus are just right. Also, the toothbrush and other items in the periphery give this shot a certain raw legitimacy -- Without them the photo might appear sterile and contrived.
Excellent work.

Oooo, this made me smile! What a great capture. The kitty even has a catch light in his/her eyes! I don't mind the objects on the counter as they add an air of authenticity to the photo. As well, the objects are balanced; one on each side of the sink.

I agree with Beverly about the objects on the top right and left of the photo. So many cats like to sleep in the bathroom sink. I wonder if it's the coolness of the porcelain, or the cuddly effect of the sink around them. The contrast adds to this photo, but I think the grain hurts it. I've never seen that much grain from TMax. I just love that superior expression on your cat's face. Well done.

When I saw the thumbnail image I immediately wanted to see the larget one. Anyone who has ever had a cat can appreciate this! nice contrast, and you caught a truly "I am king or queen of this house" cat expression. Am I right that the upper right and left corners are miscellaneous things on the countertop? Perhaps it might be better without those. Great photo!

I had a cat once that did this exact thing!...how funny. I love the feel of the picture in that the focus is on the cat's face as well as the relaxed expression in the eyes. Is there something about bathroom sinks that cats know and we don't?

Great job capturing some of your cat's personality. Kind of a "whadda you lookin' at". I'm suprised at the amount of grain in the back of the sink for a T-max film.
